Following the book study, God and the Gay Christian, Amy Westfahl, and David Procter will lead a series of meetings this fall to help us make our church more welcoming to LGBTQ+ and other marginalized groups. Our first meeting will be on September 7 at 7 p.m. At this meeting, we are excited to welcome Seth Dills from K-State’s LGBT Resource Center, who will lead a discussion regarding how we can be more affirming and stronger allies of LGBTQ+ persons. There are many other topics of discussion we plan to have through this series of fall meetings. All are welcome! We hope to see you on September 7—stay tuned for more details.
