A new 6′ 3″ cross has been hung in the main lobby. It was made by Tracy Alban. Both the interior of the cross and the exterior trim are made of sustainably harvested oak, but they are stained differently and thus contrast one another. The design matches that of the cross that Tracy made for the original altar table in the history room. By the use of a custom made brace, the cross is supported by four toggle bolts (with two more to keep it straight). Thanks to Tracy and Iris Alban (who stained it) and to Dave Larimore and Matt Alban (Tracy’s son) who helped hang it.
