32nd Annual Bishop's Round-Up for Hunger

round-up-for-hungerWe’re again collecting food for the Bishop’s Round-Up for Hunger. As in recent past years, everything we collect will be dispersed locally through our own food pantry. As long as we keep track of what we collect, items dispersed locally can be counted as contributions to the Round-Up. While the items we hand out from the food pantry vary from person to person and sack to sack we try to insure that everyone receives the following items: green beans, corn, peas, fruit, soup, pork and beans, tuna, jello, rice, dry beans, peanut butter, macaroni and cheese, crackers, paper towels, cereal, and spaghetti. (Thanks to the congregation’s generosity, we’re currently well stocked with soap and shampoo). Cash donations are always appreciated as they are used to fill in any gaps in our shelves.
