There will be sand volleyball at the park from 6:30 to 8 pm Sunday, July 28, 2013. Last week’s Vacation Bible School pool party was cancelled due to rain and has been rescheduled for Monday, July 29, 2013 from 8:30 to 10 pm.
Vacation Bible School Update

“Vacation Bible School is July 14th through July 19th at Emmanuel Church from 6p.m. to 9p.m.. A sign-up sheet for needed supplies is on the bulletin board in the Narthex. VBS Crash Course (for helpers) on Sunday, July 14th @ 5:00 p.m. @ Emmanuel Church.

Mark your calendars. The 2013 session of Vacation Bible School has been scheduled for July 15-19 from 9am to noon.
Great VBS Sunday
We had a great VBS Sunday this morning. Thanks to all the kids who participated in the program and to all the adults who helped throughout the week and with preparations that were made before things even got started. From the children I had the chance to talk with it was clear that this past week made a big, lasting impression on them. On a personal note, I want to thank Jenny for being VBS director. There are a lot of things we can both do, but this is not one of them. Thank You!
Reminder: One Worship Service This Sunday
A friendly reminder that there will be only one worship service this coming Sunday, July 15, 2012. We’ll be in the sanctuary at 10:50 learning about and celebrating Vacation Bible School.
VBS Update
After dropping to 45 kids yesterday, attendance at Vacation Bible School rose to 58 today with a total of 62 kids participating so far.
VBS Off to a Great Start
Vacation Bible School got off to a great start today with 52 kids. We’re expecting to pick up more as the week goes on. Thanks for your continuing prayers.
Combined Worship Service July 15
On Sunday, July 15, 2012 we’ll be having the Vacation Bible School (VBS) worship service at 10:50 am in the sanctuary. VBS Sunday is a important Sunday for the children of our church and it is a worship service you do not want to miss. In accordance with the decision made by the Church Council this will be a combined service (There will not be an 8:10 service).
VBS Yard and Window Signs Available
Yard and window signs for Vacation Bible School are now available. The yard signs are 18″ by 24″ and have stakes that are intended to be pushed into the ground. The window signs are 8 1/2″ by 11″, printed on card stock and can be hung in many areas other than windows. Putting a sign in your yard, business window, community bulletin board, apartment door, etc. is an easy way to help with VBS. Thanks for showing your support.
VBS Registration Open
Registration for Vacation Bible School 2012 is now open on the church’s main website. VBS will be from Monday, July 9 to Friday July 13, 2012 from 9 am to Noon. All children who will be in Kindergarten through sixth grade this fall are welcome.
