PRAYER OF SOREN KIERKEGAARD
Below is one of my favorite prayers from one of my favorite theologians, Soren Kierkegaard. I’ve been praying it a lot lately and I wanted to share it with all of you once more.
“Teach me, O God, not to torture myself, not to make a martyr out of myself through stifling reflection, but rather teach me to breathe deeply in faith.” [1]
Amen and Amen.
P.S. I received a text message from my mother indicating that she was worried about me, I’m fine. I just like this prayer and wanted to share it again.
