The Thundering Cats Big Band will perform its Annual Benefit Concert for Wesley Campus Ministry at KSU on Sunday, October 15, 2023 3:00 p.m. at First United Methodist Church, 612 Poyntz, Manhattan. Since its inception 12 years ago, the Thundering Cats have rehearsed at Wesley House. The Benefit is the Band’s way of saying thank you and helping with expenses through the free will offering.
This concert will feature the theme songs of the great big bands from Tommy Dorsey’s “I’m Getting Sentimental over You:” to Benny Goodman’s “Let’s Dance.” To Duke Ellington’s “Take the A Train, plus many more. Come, hear great jazz and support Wesley Campus Ministry.
