Special Music: Remember Me

This coming Sunday (July 20, 2014), our own Clark Williamson will be singing “Remember Me.” Clark shares the following background information about the song:

“In the year 2000, contemporary Christian artist Mark Schultz wrote the song “Remember Me”. He originally composed the song to be used for a communion service but then the song’s meaning took a different direction and leaned towards outreach ministry. The youth director who Schultz worked with suggested the two of them take a road trip. This music project resulted in several concert stops where former youth group members were then attending college. Schultz and the youth worker where he was employed decided to visit these young folks to let them know that even though the students were miles away from their hometown core group, that God continues to love them. The song describes the many ways such as a beautiful sunset in which God remains present in our lives.”
