Are you anxious about the election? This post is a reminder that the UMW has your back … with comfort food. Namely, cinnamon rolls and Lasagna (not at the same time). The annual election day bazaar will be open tomorrow (November 8, 2016) from 9:00 to 11:00 a.m. with cinnamon rolls and coffee. Tea towels, baked goods, and other items will be for sale. The bazaar will then open again from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. for the evening lasagna dinner. Lasagna dinner prices are $7.00 for those ages 13 and up, $5.00 for those 6-12, and free for those 5 and under. UMW Fall Bazaar Tomorrow
The UMW Fall Bazaar will be Tuesday, November 3, 2015 from 9 am to 7 pm in Wright Fellowship Hall. Cinnamon rolls and coffee will be served from 9 to 11 am. Beginning at 4 pm, ham and cheese sandwiches, ham salad sandwiches, chili or vegetable soup will be served. There will be lots of homemade pies, cookies and other “goodies” which can be purchased throughout the day, along with a wide assortment of handmade items. The winner of the hand crafted quilt will be announced at 6:30 pm. Please come join the fun of this annual event and stock up on all your sweets for the upcoming holidays!
UMW Fall Bazaar
Today is election day. After you vote be sure and stop by Wright Fellowship Hall to visit the UMW (United Methodist Women) Fall Bazaar. They’ve already started serving cinnamon rolls for breakfast (or brunch, or lunch, or an early afternoon snack), and supper will be served beginning at 4 pm. They also have pies, baked goods, and crafts for sale. All proceeds go to support mission projects and scholarships. I hope you can make it.

The United Methodist Women will host an all church dinner after the 10:50 service this coming Sunday, November 6, 2011. Pasta with meatballs and trimmings will be served. Proceeds go to benefit UMW missions.

UMW Lunch for MIssion this Sunday
The United Methodist Women will be having a Lunch for Missions this Sunday (March 27, 2011) after the 10:50 worship Service. They’ll be serving taco soup, jello, baked potatoes, and dessert. Freewill offerings will be accepted.

If you’re looking for Coffeyville themed Christmas Gifts, the UMW would encourage you to consider a green or burgundy Coffeyville afghan. They are available for $35 in the church office.
Choral Christmas Concert
The Choir will be having a Christmas Concert on Sunday, November 28, 2010, the First Sunday of Advent. The UMW will host a dinner in the Fellowship Hall immediately after the 10:50 am worship. The choir concert will be held in the Sanctuary following the noon meal.
Indoor Tailgate Party
The UMW will be hosting a Tailgate Party in the Fellowship Hall following the 10:50 am worship service on Sunday, October 24, 2010. Please join us for Sloppy Joes, Chips, Pop, and more, as we gather for a time of fellowship.
Christmas Gift Idea
The UMW has an early Christmas Gift Idea: a green Coffeyville afghan available in the church office for $35.
All Daughter Banquet
The UMW will be hosting an All Daughter Banquet for all the women of the church (not just UMW Members) on Thursday, May 6, 2010 at 5:30 pm. There will be a special program and the meal will be provided by the Evening UMW Circle. Donations to missions will be accepted.
