Recently, Peggy Riley and Hope Jeffers took six youths to Young Christians Weekend at Silver Dollar City. They participated in two worship services with spirit-filled music and powerful messages. They fellowshipped with other young Christians from all over, listened to Christian bands throughout the park, and prayed while on the roller coaster.

Office Hours (Updated)
Our Administrative Assistant, Anna Kozak, is still sick with Covid-19 and so our office hours will vary for the first part of this week. We’re open this morning (Monday, April 8, 2024) and the plan is to have Catherine White Troy watch the office tomorrow. But I would still encourage you to call the church office at 785-539-4191 before you take the time to drive over.

New Name Tags Are On The Rack
If you requested a name tag, you should be able to find it the following week on the name tag rack under the balcony in the back of the sanctuary.
Fifth Sunday This Sunday
Last Sunday was the fifth Sunday of the month. Typically, when there are five Sundays in the month, we receive an offering for Ogden Friendship House and have a hymn sing. Last week, because it was Easter, we did neither. This Sunday (April 7, 2024), we’re doing both. We won’t be having communion—that will be next week.

Anna is still sick and so the church office is still closed this afternoon, Thursday, April 4, 2024.
Church Office Closing at Three this Afternoon
Anna is sick and so the church office will be closing at 3:00 p.m. this afternoon (Wednesday, April 3, 2024). The building will reopen for Wednesday evening activities.
A Visit from Bishop David Wilson
Bishop David Wilson is touring the Flint Hills District. He will be at Manhattan College Avenue at 7:00 pm this coming Sunday, April 7. He will give a short presentation about the Great Plains Conference and then have a question-and-answer session. This meeting is open to all United Methodists (laity and clergy) who want to attend.
Dorothy Ann Bollman has Died
Dorothy Ann Bollman died around 5 a.m. on Easter Sunday morning. She was buried in a natural burial later that afternoon. There will be a gathering for family and friends at a later date.

A Service of Life, Death, and Resurrection for Nova Brooks will be held in the Sanctuary at 10:30 a.m. on Thursday, April 4, 2024. There will be a visitation at 9:30 a.m.
