Yesterday morning First hosted a wedding at 11:00 with a wedding reception afterwards at the CCC Union. We barely made it home because the snow. When it continued to snow heavily for four more hours we cancelled church thinking it would be a few days before anyone could get out. Well, the weather changed on us and things didn’t look so bad this morning. I was feeling guilty about canceling church as I drove in on roads that were clear for the most part. However, when I got within sight of 10th and Elm I began to again believe that the right decision had been made. The parking lot was impassible because the clearing of the roads had pushed several feet of snow into it. We’ll look forward to seeing everyone next week.
