The following was shared on Facebook by my colleague, Rev. Kent Little:

“As always, and especially on this day and this night, and all the days following, I stand with women. Women are not objects. Women are not weaker. Women are equal no less no more than I. Demeaning, assaulting language or actions are never…never excusable or defensible…ever, period. I am a feminist… I stand with women.”

The above goes for me also, and I see this stance, not at odds with my Christian faith, nor merely compatible with my Christian faith, but compelled by my Christian faith.
