Vox.com has an article on Oklahoma’s impending execution of Richard Glossip, who was convicted of murder (I’m not making this up) based on the questionable testimony of the man who everyone acknowledges actually committed the murder. Furthermore, they’re going to use questionable, experimental drugs to inflict a death that may be quite painful. Capital punishment is morally wrong and contrary to the teachings of Jesus (thus the church condemns it). Furthermore, as in this case, it is often applied unjustly. May God have mercy on the state government of Oklahoma for this premeditated act of misplaced vengeance. Please pray.
