A United Methodist Pastor in Ferguson

Croce in legno su vecchio muro rossoI’ve been alarmed and extremely concerned about the events unraveling in Ferguson, Missouri. I pray for the family of Michael Brown, the protestors, the police, members of the media and everyone living there who is just trying to keep out of the way. National Public Radio (NPR) interviewed Rev. Willis Johnson, the African-American pastor of Wellspring United Methodist Church in Ferguson. Rev. Johnson says that this isn’t a race issue, but a human issue. The world would be a better place if everyone could see it that way. It’s well worth your time to take a listen.
