I’ve been striving to make my sermons more visual through better use of the screens we have in the chapel and the sanctuary. This requires extra effort (sometimes a lot of extra effort). I don’t mind the extra effort if it’s a better way to proclaim the gospel, but I want to make sure that it actually is a better way to proclaim the gospel. So, the question is: are more visual sermons more effective sermons? I’ve given it a lot of thought and I’ve spoken with quite a few of my colleagues, but I would love to get some feedback from the individual perspectives of those of you in the pews. You can talk to me in person, call me, or drop me a line at email@example.com. Oh … and there’s also the poll below.
