The Connectional System Works: Joplin

You’re making a difference in Joplin. In May alone, Coffeyville First collected $1006.55 for UMCOR’s response to spring storms in Joplin and across the United States. Writing about her visit to Joplin, Jan Snider, a producer for United Methodist Communications writes:

I expected to gather individual stories that would be sifted down into short “sound bites.”  However, there was a larger story that kept nudging me, not as a producer, but as a United Methodist. It boils down to this: The connectional system works.

Jan’s story gives numerous examples of how the connectional system is at work in Joplin and we’re part of that system. Thank you for being part of the connection, thank you for giving to the Lord.
