There are alot of advertisements for consumer credit counseling. My understanding is that many of these companies are shady if not outright bogus. When Jenny and I went to the Good Sense Stewardship Course, Lee Sankey, from the Kansas Area United Methodist Foundation, recommended the National Foundation for Credit Counseling.
