The United Methodist Committee on Relief (UMCOR) has a new Eco-Palm project. This project provides churches with sustainably-harvested, fairly-traded palm branches for Palm/Passion Sunday. As the association with UMCOR would indicate this is in many ways a mission project (much like the Equal Exchange coffee sold in the church office).  We’ve received the palms we ordered through this project today.
